Jerusalem Temple — a religious building, which was the center of the religious life of the Jewish people between the X century BC. and I century A.D.
The temple was located on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, on the site where the Muslim shrine of Kubbat as-Sahra (the «Dome of the Rock») is located today, and served as the only authorized (after the creation of the Temple) sacrifice site to the One God, which were brought by the Koens and Levites.
