5.22.14~Calysta Videña's 8th Grade Service Project Presentation: A "TARGET" TO HELP THE COMMUNITY
Nestor Language Academy Charter School 8th Graders complete a 'OneNess" Community Service Project of their own choosing, volunteering in the community with a minimum of 15 service hours then create a report on what they did, who they are appreciative of for their experience, and provide reflections of what they've learned an how it's affected them. For this presentation, they were also required to create a video media as part of their project. Calysta chose Target and learned that this huge corporation not only sells us our necessities but also provides opportunities to help them give back to the community that we may not be aware of!
