In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we'd like to showcase the work of one of our own very talented soldiers, Staff Sgt. Matt Corrigan. Coasting is an original composition of his, and one that features his amazing jazz trombone playing. "I've always found improvisation to be enjoyable. To be able to choose from branching pathways of melodies while also respecting the underlying harmony and mood of the piece is a fun challenge."
