VR Flight in X-Plane 11 at ENOV (ORBX Freeware Scenery)
There are tons of great scenery out there, but a lot of it costs you money. Well, here is a gem that is FREE.
Take a virtual reality flight with me around the ORBX ENOV freeware scenery. In the flight I use my Oculus Rift and I also show you my frame rate and settings.
The frame rate is a bit on the low side for VR, but I found that it was actually very enjoyable. I could probably lower my settings to allow for more FPS, but I really wanted to get the most out of the scenery. Just to give you a reference, I am running a 1060 with 6GB of VRAM. The rest of my specs are below.
This airport is an amazing regional airport located in Orsta, Norway. This scenery has highly detailed ground and object textures, night lighting and trees. It is truly amazing scenery... especially since it is at the best price! Free.
