I got an old compressor from the refrigerator, from which I decided to make a vacuum chamber for degassing epoxy resin and stabilizing wood. I used an old multicooker bowl as a camera. To connect to the compressor, I used ordinary water fittings and taps connected using sealant. 4mm vacuum rubber gasket. Plexiglas cover 20mm. As a result, I received a value of -0.08 MPa on the pressure gauge. Not the ultimate dream, but for the budget option will do. If it is not enough, you will have to buy a factory-made vacuum compressor.
