For some reason, some are sure that the salary, which the Soviet person could count on, most often amounted to 100-120 rubles. Yes, it happened, but still salaries in the USSR were different. Sometimes the usual “hard worker” received much more per month than its leader. In the days of the USSR, they often told me that you want to earn well, do not go to engineers, but go to a working specialist. Engineers pay a “penny”. It is difficult to imagine this today. As one of the directors of the plant where I worked, justifying the high salaries of management and low workers: "Everyone will be able to produce the product, and you try to sell it in the market!"
