In this video, I will show you how to insert multiple rows in Google Sheets.

There are a couple of ways to insert a single or multiple rows in Google Sheets.
-- Using the option in the Insert tab
-- Using the options in the right-click menu
-- Using the F4 shortcut to insert a row by repeating the last action

00:10 Add a Row Using the Insert Option
00:48 Insert Row Using Right-click Menu
01:06 Insert Multiple Rows in One Go
02:11 Insert Multiple non-contiguous rows

When you select one row, you get the option in Google Sheets to add a blank row above or below that row. You get this option in the Insert options in the menu as well as when you right-click on the selected row.

Also, in case you select multiple contiguous rows, you can insert multiple rows at the same time. For example, if you select three rows and then use the Insert Rows option, Google Sheets is going to insert three blank rows above/below the selected rows.

Unfortunately, there is no way to insert multiple rows when you have selected non-contiguous rows. In such a case, you can insert a single row once and then use the keyboard shortcut F4 to repeat the same process. This helps speed up the process of adding multiple rows in Google Sheets.
