Juhi Chawla Rejected Salman Khan’s Marriage Proposal. Well, one of the most eligible bachelors of our nation is undoubtedly Salman Khan. But if things happened according to him, then the Bhaijaan would not have been unmarried till date. Yes, it is right. There was a time when Salman Khan was interested to get married. Bhaijaan was in love then. He loved gorgeous Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla. Shocking but true. Salman Khan himself in an old interview confessed that he was madly in love with Juhi Chawla. The star added that, he first saw Juhi on the sets of Andaz Apna Apna and was bowled over by the beauty of Juhi Chawla. He fell in love with Juhi Chawla at the first sight and did his best to impress Juhi Chawla. Later they worked in Deewana Mastana together and their bond started growing strong. They were spending a lot of quality time together and wanted to take their friendship to the next level. Salman Khan chose to propose Juhi during their tour to Vancouver which was attended by Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon, Divya Bharati and many others. The bhaijaan proposed Juhi during that tour to marry him but Juhi already knew about Salman’s personality. Salman Khan was a womanizer and already had relationships with Somi Ali, Sangeeta Bijlani, FariaAlam. Salman Khan’s relationships were always making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Salman’s girlfriends left him for his anger issues and controlling nature and Juhi was pretty aware about these facts. Juhi knew that Salman loves to control his girl friend and does not let his girl friends work with other actors. Juhi rejected Salman Khan’s proposal because of his always doubting, controlling nature. The actress was also at the top of her career then and she did not want to ruin her career for getting married. So, she rejected him. But Salman Khan was madly in love with Juhi Chawla and was adamant to get married with Juhi. So, he went to Juhi’s father with his marriage proposal but Juhi’s father did not like Salman and his behavior. In spite of knowing that he is the son of ace film maker Salim Khan, Juhi’s father rejected his marriage proposal for his daughter. This angered Salman Khan too much and he went on to insult Juhi Chawla’s father too much. This behavior of Salman Khan hurt and angered Juhi Chawla as Salman was her good friend. This is why Juhi Chawla ended all connections with Salman Khan and said that she would never work with Salman Khan again. When Aishwarya accused Salman of beating her, Juhi Chawla thanked her decision of not marrying Salman. Juhi was trolled too much for marrying businessman Jay Mehta, who is much older than her. People even said that she rejected Salman Khan and ended up marrying Jay Mehta. But Juhi always says that she is happy for not marrying Salman; as she knows that it would have been impossible for her to live with him. Juhi is very much happy in her conjugal life with Jay Mehta and has never worked opposite Salman in any film after that.
