HOW WE DO VARICOCELE EMBOLIZATION IN OUR CENTER
For the treatment of varicocele, we prefer embolization instead of surgery because:
1. Surgery can treat either the cause of varicocele (conventional surgery) or the varicocele itself (microsurgery). Therefore, in either case, the treatment is not complete. In embolization, we treat them both in one session.
2. We do embolization under local anesthesia through a sheath at the groin. After this one hour procedure, you may return to normal life right away.
