In a nod to the amazing and vast Yuri On Ice fandom, which has enthusiastically embraced Johnny, the footage has been paired with a beautiful cover of 'Agape' recorded by the very talented Elisabeth Santos and dedicated to Johnny ( • Agape (Soprano Cover) Yuri!!! On Ice ).
During his interview with The Geekiary about Yuri On Ice, Johnny said, "If I could choose one performance to skate that would match me, I would definitely say Yurio’s 'Agape.' It is totally my style." Read the full interview here: http://bit.ly/JW_YOIGk16.
He mentioned in his YOI interview with Crunchyroll ( • Yuri!!! On ICE Reaction from Olympic Skate... ) that he is "an original" and likely would not perform to music from the show. But he also noted that "if there is enough demand, perhaps I shall try some 'Eros' or some 'Agape' some day . . . "
