Game Overview
The world of Touhou comes alive in this beautiful action RPG (featuring “bullet hell” elements, of course!). Infamous vampire Remilia Scarlet and her dutiful maid, Sakuya, set off to chase rumors of a massive monster, all while sending baddies flying with fluid action and signature skills!

[1] Intro
Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity 東方紅輝心. It's a Touhou Project fan made action game by Ankake Spa and published by XSEED & Marvelous. Its original work was released in Comic Market 86. As you may know, from 2017, Touhou games are starting to appear on Steam. For fan-made touhou games, maybe this game is quite meaningful as it is serviced by XSEED & Marvelous USA, a well-known western anime game publisher. Of course, the developer Ankake Spa has been releasing his Touhou fan made games ever before and has shown good potential so far.
[2] Game Experience
The game presents you with a mix of JRPG, Hack & Slash, Dungeon Crawling, and Bullet Hell games. Selecting from the Remilia or Sakuya, you can enjoy 3D Touhou environment adventures ranging from your Gensokyo Scarlet Devil Manor to forests, towns, and mazes in your basement library. Gameplay style is somewhat similar to side scrolling like Beat'em up. And because each level brings exciting new changes to the gameplay style or environment that are totally different from before, you don't have to starve for a variety of content.
It would have been better if there had been separate stories of Remilia and Sakuya, but in essence the two story lines are the same. However, if you select one character, you cannot replace it in the middle, you must run to the ending with your partner. The main story consists of 13 chapters with an intro. This means that 13 exciting boss battles are waiting for you. Because the fieldmaps are wide, moving around with your character into those places is a bit tedious, but the enemies are more diversified than in the previous series. Not only that, but the music in this game is so impressive that it's well worth listening to its touhou style OST.

Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity 東方紅輝心. This is a fairly well made Touhou Fan game. Personally, I really liked the soundtrack of this game. And this is an action game, but includes various action styles such as Top-Down & Side Scrolling. Boss battles are quite exciting and this is the main fun of the game. There are only 2 playable characters, but if you meet certain conditions, you can play hidden characters with limited. Despite some obvious downsides, the game was more fun than expected. If you're a fan of Touhou Project, don't miss this game. Even if you are not familiar with the Touhou series, it is well worth trying as an action game. Recommended!
