BEFORE ANYTHING, OPEN DOLPHIN, CLICK ON CONFIG, THEN WII, AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE "INSERT SD CARD" CHECKED.
You also have to remap whatever you're using to a gamecube to navigate the menu of Gecko
