In this review, I take a close look at the KBMSCITH ZA9810 mechanical keyboard, which promises a compact 98-key layout, ergonomic design, and mechanical red switches. Unfortunately, this keyboard falls short in several areas. The red switches are disappointing, providing a poor typing experience, and the volume knob doesn't control volume but instead changes the LED lights. To make matters worse, the keyboard is advertised as having hot-swappable switches, but the switches are actually soldered on, making it impossible to swap them out without damaging the keyboard. This is especially frustrating for those, like myself, who bought this keyboard specifically for hot-swapping. Additionally, the LED settings can't be adjusted via software, making this keyboard a tough sell at its price point. If you're considering this keyboard for office work or gaming, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for better options.
