A few weeks ago a friend turned me on to the book Get Rich Lucky Bitch by Denise Duffield-Thomas. Being that I still prefer having a book in my hands rather than an electronic download, I ordered it immediately from amazon. Well, after waiting patiently (not really), it arrived after about 2 weeks (must have been all the snow).
Anyway, I can't begin to tell you how much I loved this book. First off, it's about creating an abundant life and who doesn't like that idea but also, I love the writing style of the author. She swears, she's direct and to the point and mostly comes off like your best friend offering you her best advice.
Secondly, if you've ever been a student of the Law of Attraction and wound up frustrated because you didn't feel like you had a very clear plan on how to put it all together OR, if you've ever felt like you had hit a wall with your manifesting attempts, this book will help you.
It contains practical tools that busy people can use to manifest their dream life and GET RICH. And if the word 'rich' offends you, that's your first clue that you have some blocks you need to clear so that you can live your best life.
You may find that the tools and advice are things you've heard before, especially if you've been a student of personal development for a while like me but, if you want to bring your life to the next level, it may be time to re-visit some of the those teachings.
For me, I learned EFT tapping many years ago and have used it on and off ever since. EFT is a very effective tool for clearing away stress and mental blocks that hold you back from your dreams. As much as I love tapping and have had huge benefits from using it, I must admit that I've been very slack about using it on a regular basis for the last few years so, Get Rich Lucky Bitch has gotten me to re-commit to using this amazing tool on a more regular basis.
The funny thing about the Law of Attraction and manifesting, especially in the area of money is that if you don't have a place where you can take action, then you're limited with how much you can manifest. Sure you may manifest a tax refund or winning a contest but if you don't have a vehicle for the universe to deliver all that abundance to you, you may wind up thinking that the advice in this book doesn't work.
