The Tulsa Race Massacre: Bombs Dropped on Black Wall Street.
The Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921 was an act of terror. Bombs were dropped on the Greenwood District of Tulsa, Oklahoma–the first time bombs were dropped on U.S. soil. Despite this tragedy, the Black community there went on to rebuild, earning it the nickname “Black Wall Street”. We must remember our history and fight for justice.
