How to Create a YouTube Channel for beginners

Creating a YouTube channel from scratch is the topic of this video and I want to show you exactly how to make a YouTube channel and set it up the right way.

Step 1: Go to youtube.com and click on the sign-in button if you haven’t already. This will prompt you to create a YouTube/Google account.

It’s best to start with a new google account dedicated to your YouTube channel.
You can then choose a brand channel here.

Step 2: Click on the profile icon on YouTube and click on create a channel.

Step 3: Verify your account
This simply requires a phone number.

Step 4: customization
You can change the layout, branding, and basic info for your channel.

Step 5: branding
Make sure to set up a channel banner, profile picture, and watermark.

Step 6: Channel basic info
Make sure to write a clear channel description and add channel links on this page.
It’s also a good idea to add contact info, but make sure it’s not the same email as your YouTube account email.
