When you save a file, you expect to be able to open it again in the future. But what happens when the technology has moved on in the time between saving the file and wanting to access it again? In this video, I look at how I've been able to take Cubase songs recorded and saved on floppy disks from an the Atari ST and reassemble the file structure and content in Cubase Pro 11, with a few steps, stutters and missteps along the way.
