At the beginning of March 1915, she remained without news for several days, finally learning that Théo had been shot as an example with three other of his comrades because they had refused to fight. Intuitively, she feels that it is an assassination and decides to seek the truth.
While many turn their backs on her, she devotes herself to collecting testimonies in order to obtain proof. She aims for the impossible: the recognition of the assassination and the rehabilitation of Théo.
