Safety Locking Devices PSENslock 2 – the new Generation | Pilz
The new generation of safety locking devices PSENslock 2 is suitable for universal use for safety gate monitoring in process protection up to PL e, Cat. 4 (EN ISO 13849). For applications that require safe guard locking for personnel protection, a version that offers this function is also available for the first time. In all versions, the electromagnetic safety locking device offers a high level of tamper protection for maximum safety.

The PSENslock 2 safety locking device can also be used in harsh conditions and is insensitive to dust and water thanks to protection class IP67/IP6K9K. The optimised design prevents dirt and dust deposits. Variants with stainless steel components are available for hygiene-critical applications, making them ideal for hygiene-critical applications such as in the packaging industry. In combination with the intelligent SDD diagnostic system, extended diagnostic and status information can be called up.

With a locking force of either 1,000 or 2,000 N, PSENslock 2 is suitable for both large doors and small flaps. Tolerances due to safety gate misalignment or vibrations are easily compensated, ensuring high availability. The latching force can be quickly and easily adjusted in stages to the respective system and door size using the RFID tag.
