Remapping Drums in Cubase
Using MIDI drum grooves intended for use with one manufacturer's products can be a challenge, as VST drum instruments offer an ever-expanding range of drums and articulations, not all of which follow the General MIDI standard. Each manufacturer has their own way of mapping these extra articulations, but fortunately, Cubase has a simple way of translating between these different systems built-in.
