Leningrad Regional College of Culture and Arts is one of the oldest secondary vocational educational institutions. Now the College is one of the best educational institutions of the region. Young enthusiasm and a variety of creative ideas run through its life. They are vividly embodied in celebrations, contests and festivals that traditionally take place on Leningrad's land with the most active participation of teachers and students. The College conducts training in creative areas: theatrical, artistic, musical and choreographic, as well as in social and cultural activities.
Graduates of the Leningrad Regional College of Culture and Arts are known in all districts of the region and far beyond its borders. There is no such field of cultural activity in which the College students didn’t work. Cabinet ministers of regional government, directors of museums, palaces and culture houses, heads of artistic groups, many of which are the laureates of regional, All-Russian and international competitions, are among the students of the College. While being the leading institution among the secondary educational institutions of culture of the Northwestern region, the College conducts serious scientific and methodological work, old programs are being improved, and new ones are being developed. The advanced training courses and seminars for teachers of various specializations are held on the basis of the College. The Candidates of Sciences, Honored cultural professionals of the Russian Federation and Honored teachers of the Russian Federation are among the teachers.
