Why Bloodborne's first boss is one of its best
Gascoigne is probably my favorite first boss in the series, and part of why I adore Bloodborne so much. Developing a good boss is a lot more than just difficulty, Gascoigne doesn't need to be the most challenging fight in the game to be one of the best, his fight was meticulously crafted for his role.
