Cubase Feature you didn't know about | Midi Double Notes | Tutorial
When playing Midi Notes in Cubase, it can easily occur that you end up with 2 Notes on the same Pitch at the same time, which results in this note beeing extra loud. This can happen if your Auto Quantize Function is activated.
To Fix this, go to Midi - Functions - Delete Doubles (as shown in this quick tutorial).
