WRX vs Forced Induction Sport - Import Face-Off [9/11/2016]
A bad ass day and Import Face-Off with my hoodrat friends racing on the new setup. We brought tires this time, too!
This video features a 2002 WRX with a 2.1L stroker built and tuned by AA Performance of Oklahoma City, OK. It has a BNM rotated turbo kit with a Garrett GT3582R .63AR turbine housing. We run this on the crappiest fuel in the world, Oklahoma 91 octane, but make it better with a Devil's Own methanol injection kit. Getting the power down through a 2011 STi transmission and some Driveshaft Shop 800hp rear axles to keep everything happy. This day I am also running some Hoosier DR2 drag radials in 245/45/17s on stock STi BBS wheels.
The competition was good. There were a STi's, a GTR, a FD, a couple of VWs and even a McLaren MP4-12C Spider. Check out this awfully long video and, most of all, enjoy!
