Meet Sridhar Jena, a vibrant and ambitious Grade 10 student hailing from the quaint town of Brahmapur in Odisha. This young mind, enrolled at MKCG Govt High School, stands out not only for his academic prowess but also for his deep concern about the pressing issue of climate change.
Sridhar's journey into the world of innovation began when he joined the Young Tinker program at his school. It was here that he found the inspiration and motivation to channel his passion for the environment into a tangible solution. Fuelled by a desire to combat plastic pollution, Sridhar embarked on a mission to create sustainable alternatives.
With unwavering determination, he founded his startup, "JSR Khalipatra." The name echoes his commitment to finding eco-friendly alternatives to conventional disposable items. Sridhar's innovative approach involves using leaves to craft plates and other useful items. This not only provides a sustainable substitute for plastic but also contributes to the fight against climate change.

ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ୟଙ୍ଗ ଟିଙ୍କର୍ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ସେତେବେଳେ ଶ୍ରୀଧରଙ୍କ ଅଭିନବ ଜଗତରେ ଯାତ୍ରା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା | ଏଠାରେ ସେ ପରିବେଶ ପ୍ରତି ତାଙ୍କର ଉତ୍ସାହକୁ ଏକ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତମୂଳକ ସମାଧାନରେ ଚ୍ୟାନେଲ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରେରଣା ପାଇଲେ | ପ୍ଲାଷ୍ଟିକ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣକୁ ମୁକାବିଲା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ଶ୍ରୀଧର ନିରନ୍ତର ବିକଳ୍ପ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ମିଶନ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ।
ଅଦମ୍ୟ ନିଷ୍ଠା ସହିତ ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଷ୍ଟାର୍ଟଅପ୍ "ଜେଏସଆର ଖଲିପତ୍ର" ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିଥିଲେ। ପାରମ୍ପାରିକ ବ୍ୟବହାର ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ବସ୍ତୁଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପାଇଁ ଇକୋ-ଫ୍ରେଣ୍ଡଲି ବିକଳ୍ପ ଖୋଜିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହି ନାମ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ କରେ | ଶ୍ରୀଧରଙ୍କ ଅଭିନବ ଉପାୟରେ ପ୍ଲେଟ୍ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଉପଯୋଗୀ ଜିନିଷଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ପତ୍ର ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ | ଏହା କେବଳ ପ୍ଲାଷ୍ଟିକ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ବିକଳ୍ପ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରେ ନାହିଁ ବରଂ ଜଳବାୟୁ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ବିରୋଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସହାୟକ ହୁଏ |

About Young Tinker Space
A tinker space is a place where students can tinker and create and do their own things. When children tinker, they learn about the tools and materials they are working with. This way they develop their motor and creative skills.
Our tinker space is equipped with tinkering stations consisting of 3d printers, drilling machines, soldering stations, electronics items (Arduino, bread board, jumper wires, sensors, etc.) and other mechanical tools (wrench, screw driver, etc.)

Young Tinker Foundation (formerly Navonmesh Prasar Foundation) is a non-profit organization (section-8 company) that aims to spread the word of innovation, science and technology among students in urban and rural parts of India.
What started with a spark on a remote island in Odisha is today standing proud with its student's achievements at the International level. It is indeed a matter of pride for us in terms of what the Young Tinker Foundation has accomplished in these years.
We also made history by securing World Rank 3 at NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge 2021. This achievement made India proud as we’re the 1st team in Asia to achieve so. This is a testimony of the great work that we do at our foundation.
