📌 How to Edit the Footer in WordPress?
The footer area contains important information visitors look for, such as links to your business’s social media accounts, company information pages, and customer service.
However, each WordPress theme has a different footer layout, affecting the footers’ styling, formatting, and features.
There are four ways to edit the footer in WordPress:
👉 Using the WordPress Built-In Widget System:
It only applies to themes with a footer widget area.
👉 Editing the Footer via Your WordPress Theme:
WordPress’s built-in Customizer lets you see the changes you’ve made to your website’s footer in real-time. However, note that not all themes have footer options.
👉 Using the Block Editor:
It only applies if you use a block-based theme, like the Twenty Twenty-Two theme.
👉 Using WordPress Footer Plugin:
Use footer plugins like Insert Headers and Footers, Header Footer Code Manager, or Footer Mega Grid Columns. This option does not require coding knowledge, so it’s ideal for beginners.
