SIGHISOARA, Romania 🇷🇴 - 4K
Sighișoara is a city in Mureș County, Romania. Founded in the 12th century by Transylvanian Saxons. Known for its well-preserved walled old town. Birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Dracula.
On this tour we walk around the town center, see the Clock Tower, built in the 14th century and other notable landmarks. The town itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Features nine preserved towers, each built by different guilds.
An annual Medieval Festival attracts many visitors. During this walk we will experience the atmosphere of the tourists coming to Sighisoara as well as a peek outside the town walls in the more modern city center.
