Grimmjow's new rework is good, but doesn't completely fix his issue. The way I see it is that they put a band-aid over an open wound. In this case, they gave Grimmjow the ability to fight back and stand some chance, but he still doesn't have a good enough method of closing the gap or applying shield pressure.
Grimmjow now has a place in ABA, but he's still not completely solidified as a top tier character.
