Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux from Nutcracker (Svetlanov, USSR S.O.)
Svetlanov conducts Tchaikovsky's Pas de Deux (from his suite from the ballet Nutcracker, Op. 71a) with the USSR Symphony Orchestra, recorded 1987. The video also includes a rare recording of Tchaikovsky speaking and whistling, recorded on an Edison cylinder in January 1890.
