Here we discuss several composites failure criteria that can be used to predict first ply failure. We discuss Tsai-Wu, Tsai-Hill, and maximum stress criteria. We model an airplane wing to illustrate the overall procedure on how to design a system that meet the criteria. Mr. Wei guides us through these tutorials.
