Terrifying Voyager Discovery SHOCKS the Entire Space Industry!
The Voyager 2 space probe was launched on August 20, 1977 from Cape Canaveral, on a Titan-Centaur rocket. It is identical to its sister probe, Voyager 1. Both probes had initially been conceived as part of the Mariner program under the names Mariner 11 and Mariner 12, respectively.
Unlike its sister, Voyager 2 took a different trajectory in its encounter with Saturn.
