TALLINN Estonia - Medieval Old Days Festival - Music, Traditional Clothes, Culture
The Medieval Days Festival or the Old Days Festival is a 2 day extravaganza of medieval history and culture in Tallinn old town every August.
This year, 2020, was different to most. As the COVID-19 virus affected tourism throughout the world. Fortunately the festival was able to go on in Estonia as cases were low here, albeit on a more modest scale than usual.
We were fortunate enough to be in Tallinn for the festival and enjoyed the 2 days of entertainment and cultural experience. Highlights were the talented performances of Kaari Uus, Rondo Danzante and the incredible Orient Accident Trio.
The festival is completely free for all to enjoy.
