Static routing is a network routing technique in which network administrators manually configure the routing tables of routers or switches to determine how data packets should be forwarded within a network.
No Automatic Failover: Static routing does not provide automatic failover capabilities. If a link or router along a static route fails, traffic will continue to be sent along that route until the administrator manually updates the routing table.
