In this video, I show you what I've been working on over the last few months of summer, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The focus of the video is around collage and mixed media on cradled wood panels, as well as, on 5x7" collage art in my concertina journal. The journal was folded and cut from a large 18x24" watercolour painting on Strathmore 140 lb paper. I 'd folded it up into a "concertina" book after learning from a course I'd taken by UK artist, Helen Wells. Each page is a great background or jumping off point for a 5x7" artwork.
I pull a card from an art deck called "Souls Seeking Seed" by artist, Kim Dills. Also, I pick a card from my own Art Poetry card deck and share my insights into the words and images.
