Here's how to nail your pitch in 3 steps:

1. Start with the problem:

Paint a picture of the pain point.
Highlight the severity of the problem.

2. Introduce a general solution:

Explain why addressing this problem is crucial.
Avoid talking about your solution just yet.

3. Present your solution:

Show how your product/service uniquely solves the problem.

Here's an example from a Y Combinator pitch I helped with:
A founder shared a story about a family struggling after a loved one's death due to the absence of a will.

The problem:
The complexity and turmoil caused by not having a will.

The general solution:
Emphasizing the importance of having a will.

Present your solution:
An AI-based app that simplifies will creation.
