Assembly of aluminium veranda with polycarbonate roof
The video explains step-by-step how to assemble a veranda with aluminium support structures and a polycarbonate roof.
Wall beam installation
An important part of the veranda is installing the wall bracket. For this, you need to know how tall the veranda will be, as well as its depth and, for the passage height, the height at the front of the veranda.
Slope
Gumax® verandas should be installed at an 8-degree angle. To do this, use a spirit level or a gradiometer on your smartphone.
Foundation
In the video, the foundation is made with spot foundations that are buried. The support structures of the veranda will be placed on this. Important here is that is stable soil underneath the concrete blocks.
LED lighting
DobbitTV's video shows how to install LED lights. Holes need to be drilled for this purpose. The cables are concealed in the profiles. Also check that the LED lights work before installing the cables.
Laying polycarbonate roof panels
Before you can install the polycarbonate roof panels, prepare the profiles with rubbers. Later, make sure you place the roof panels with the UV-resistant side up and carefully lay them on the veranda. Using a rubber mallet, tap the cover profiles into place.
