X-Plane 11 in VR. Engine Failure in the Cessna 172. We take off and climb until I put the plane in a simulated engine failure. Instead of landing at the airport I end up landing in a field. I am running a GTX 1060 (6GB version) with an i5-7600k. In this video, I am running both the CPU and GPU without any overclocking.

The Oculus Rift makes it very immersive in VR.

With the new Steam VR (X-Planes new native VR setup), I have my resolution set to 2X supersampling, which is pretty high. The video quality will not be that high due to the way I had to record it. I will be looking to improve this in future videos.

X-Plane 11 Graphic settings:
Visual Effects are set to High (HDR)
Texture Quality is set to Maximum
Antialiasing is set to the first notch
Number of objects is set to high
Reflection Detail is set to minimum.
