Film Score Exercise #3 - (drone footage w/ Ableton Note soundtrack)
Just another experiment in quick-and-dirty film making/media composing. On a whim i stopped at this little park and spent 10 or so minutes shooting some footage with the DJI Mini Pro 3, then i hopped back in my car, opened Ableton Note on my phone and put together a quick little sketch of some music.
Once i got back home, i opened the Note sketch in Ableton Live, tweaked the arrangement a bit and did some cleaning up, then moved over to Final Cut Pro to try to match up some of today's footage. It's a bit sloppy, but i kinda don't hate it.
I'm working on a series of these, just as practice exercises. I try to shoot some footage, then bring it home, edit it and compose and record a score to go with it, as quickly as possible.
