That time I pulled the whiplash solo out with my college big band
I played drums for the big band at my college (NC State), and this particular solo is from my last ever performance with the band before I graduated. I had seen whiplash the year prior and thought I would have some fun with the audience for the last tune we played, which of course was Buddy Rich’s “Time Check.” I love how everyone laughed knowing I was pulling something ludicrous 😂😂 #drums #cover #70s
