This presentation describes Nurse-led Quality Improvement methodology employed at Ovum Hospital, Hoskote in implementing and sustaining prolonged Kangaroo mother care in a predominant outborn unit over 2 years. Kangaroo mother care is a proven intervention improving survival in preterms. Challenges in implementation have been addressed systematically through Quality Improvement. This was one of the papers presented in final award paper competition by Ms. Gayathri, Nursing staff, Ovum Hospital
