This video shows how to fix a couple errors that can occur when connecting to a network share drive. Both errors stem from the same issue: Windows 10 does not have SMB1 support installed by default.

The first error message is: You might not have permission to use this network resource. You can't connect to the file share because it's not secure. This share requires the obsolete SMB1 protocol, which is unsafe and could expose your system to attack.

Another possible error caused by this issue: Windows cannot access (share name) Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. This error should have a code 0x80070035.

Both are resolved by install SMB1 using the 'Turn Windows features on or off' section in Programs and Features.
