This video helps to view PSD file thumbnails as easy method in windows platform with a small software.

Windows 7, 8.1 , 10 does not show any thumbnails in PSD file format this is really very annoying but some private codecs will helps to show thumbnails.

Acdsee and Fast Stone has inbuilt image viewer and supports PSD
format
