How to permanently turn off Live Photos on iPhone Camera
Most people much rather take normal pictures on their iPhone than Live Photos. However, by default Apple has set Live Photos to be the default option. This means you have to turn it off every time you open the Camera app. Today, I'll show you how to permanently turn off Live Photos on your iPhone. I'm on iOS 15.4.1 with an iPhone 13 Pro. The process may be very slightly different for earlier iOS versions. Simply open the Settings app, scroll down to "Camera," go to "Preserve Settings," scroll down and turn on "Live Photos." Next, open the Camera app, go to "PHOTO," and turn off Live Photos. Now, it will remain off, even after closing and reopening the Camera app, until you turn it on again.
