How to Add and Edit Address Autofill in Edge Android?
Learn how to add and edit as well as delete an address for form auto-fills in Microsoft Edge for Android. The autofill helps in reducing the manual task of entering the address and location again and again while filling up a form.
Often times we are asked to enter the address and other location details on many sites when we are making an online purchase. Now the addresses are hardly going to change very frequently, hence it a good idea to keep it stored in browser storage.
Whenever we are filling out a form that requires address or location while registration, the browser automatically detects the fields and popup the details. This will eliminate the manual effort of filling out the address again and again.
Just like Google Chrome Addresses, Microsoft Edge do offer an ability to store the address in the browser. These details are used for auto-filling the forms.
Here are the steps to add an address in Microsoft Edge for Android browser:
1. Launch Microsoft Edge app on Android.
2. Tap on 3 dots menu for options.
3. Select the Settings menu from the list.
4. Choose Autofill and Payments tab from the list.
5. Select Addresses and more options.
6. Tap on '+ Add address' command button
7. Enter the Address details and tap on Save command.
The address will be added into browser storage and can be used for future autofill in any form.
Here are the steps to edit addresses details in Microsoft Edge for Android browser:
1. Launch Microsoft Edge app on Android.
2. Tap on 3 dots menu for options.
3. Select the Settings menu from the list.
4. Choose Autofill and Payments tab from the list.
5. Select Addresses and more options.
6. Choose an existing address from the list that you want to edit the details.
7. Make the edits and hit on Save command.
The address will be successfully edited with the changes and available from the next form autofill.
Here are the steps to delete addresses in Microsoft Edge for Android browser:
1. Launch Microsoft Edge app on Android.
2. Tap on 3 dots menu for options.
3. Select the Settings menu from the list.
4. Choose Autofill and Payments tab from the list.
5. Select Addresses and more options.
6. Choose an existing address that you need to delete from the storage.
7. Tap on the Trash icon at the top corner to delete the address.
The stored address will be removed from the storage and won't be available while requesting autofill.
These addresses details can also be used in cards and payment methods as default billing address.
