Despite being a self proclaimed director and cinematographer in the intro to my videos, when all the work dried up in March of 2020, the pandemic brought me back round to editing, lots and lots of editing, and remotely more than ever before. Editing was my first love, I had abandoned it, but then in a time of need when no other role was available Editing was happy to have me back for a bit.
The editing work I've been lucky enough to land in the past 8-10 months has been really interesting, it's not how I would have been used to working previously when I've worked as an editor. I wanted to discuss the pros, cons, workflows and time management practices I follow and really keen to hear from anyone else if they have any improvements on this for the solo worker.
