CREATING A NEW METAL ALLOY FOR JEWELRY?!?!?
The goal was to create a new metal that would be used to make jewelry. We took 5 grams of gold, 5 grams of platinum, and 5 grams of copper from pre 1982 pennies, and melted them together which gave us a result that was pretty much overwhelmed by the platinum, almost resembling a meteor.
