Looking for devlogs to follow the game's progress? Ever wondered how to make a game? Want to learn about making a game in Unity? Look no further! I will be putting out devlogs to document my game making journey, as well as other game dev related videos from time to time.
The Break-In is a co-op VR / non VR stealth game, where you and your friends become thieves, sneaking into houses and stores - and later bank vaults and museums - in search of anything you can sell for a profit. Do you go straight for the electronics? Hit up the jewelry boxes? Maybe go full moving company and take every last piece of furniture? Whatever you choose, just make sure you get your loot back to your van before the feds arrive. When your friends are crooks, they won't hesitate to leave you behind.
I have been making games for most of my life at this point. Some would consider this a life wasted, and I would agree, but I'm in too deep to back out now. And so, ever since I first typed "how to make a game" into youtube and got to work making my first game in Unity, I've set myself on a path to making games that at least a handful of people will play.
Solo game development comes with plenty of challenges, since I need to handle everything, including programming, sound design, 3d modeling, animation, marketing, and AI. And I only have one working brain so far, so bear with me.
