There are less perfumers in the world than astronauts and Uwe Herrich is one of those perfumers. His perfumery in the city of Dresden in eastern Germany looks like a medieval alchemy laboratory. Here he creates unique perfumes from fragrances extracted from organic materials – and even supplies European nobility with an air of elegance.
