How to add more value to your Tobii EyeTracker by using FaceTrackNoIR to enable tracking in any game
Tobii EyeTracker 4c and 5 especially is a great device for Eura and American Truck Simulator but it also has a somewhat limited support for games in general.
For me personally, its games like Assetto Corsa, Dovetail Train Simulator and the upcoming Flight Simulator 2020 that is of most concern. For you it might be other games and for all of us theres a solution!
FaceTrackNoIR is a third party application that aims to support all trackers and tracking protocols and it does a pretty good job too. Just recently they added support for Tobii EyeTracker 4c. Even better news, that support covers the new EyeTracker 5 too!
So today I will give you a short introduction to FaceTrackNoIR and how you configure it for Tobii EyeTracker x.
Of course, the calibration is quite individual so I will only talk about that in general terms but it shouldnt be any problem for you to get started although the heavy work you will have to do yourself.
