slightly more detailed explanation: these are now incredibly rare and expensive relics of a past time. when they were being commonly used, they only cost 2-3 ex. this lead to a meta of crafting where someone would make a #1 item, such as say a dagger. that item can't be beaten because its 6 t1 rolls, perfectly divined (due to infinite undo buttons). the crafter gets fees from this perfect item and uses that funding to create the next #1 perfect 6 t1 item. repeat process until a few moguls had literally every single #1 mirror item owned under just a few guilds. the economy basically is stagnant, no one can craft anything to beat these items until new tiers are added or until ggg removes eternals. fast forward a few years until this video is made. no new supply of eternals and the demand from shaper/elder/abyss bases has made the price skyrocket to 100+ ex per. they aren't feasible to be used in crafting anymore, at least not for your common crafter. very few people can drop 50-100 eternals on something, and items like wands/sceptres/daggers can take hundreds if not thousands to totally perfect. blood thirst is probably the last 6 t1 wand that will ever be made intentionally, UNLESS ggg readds eternals as a drop. only time can tell.
without eternals, crafting flourishes. everyone has a relatively equal chance at making something beautifully insane. ziz's #1 axe for example, might never be beaten.
